This is how I imagined the circus to look before it repaired and restored, I wanted to create a sense of emptiness, like something’s missing, which is why I chose to have the light shine down from the rips in the tent, highlighting the empty ringmaster post in the centre, like there’s still hope for the circus despite its state of disarray.
